  • Court reinstates conviction of Macon man who made repeated bomb threats in 2003

    A federal appeals court has upheld the conviction of a Macon man who terrorized Macon for 11 days by making repeated bomb threats. In 2004, Eddie Milton Garey was convicted of 27 federal charges after he called the Macon-Bibb County 911 Center anonymously, threatening to use bombs and poisonous gas to destroy various sites across the city unless he was paid money, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
